In this blog entry, I'll be covering my ride. The Honda Civic FD2. This is 16th update of Longtermer #2, this month's the 22th month we (my family) owned the Civic 2.0iVTEC FD2.
Over the last 7 days, as usual my dad drove this Civic FD2 HARD. To Genting Highlands (1 round), KLIA 2 rounds, Cyberjaya few rounds.
Again, the way he drove to Genting and back. Well, he utilised Engine braking most of the time when downhill and played with the Paddle shift (S mode) with Air-cond off (windows down) when going uphill.
My dad sent the car for suspension tuning, camber and Alignment by a Tyre shop. Also rotated the wheels.
The Civic's Due did its 30,000km service on 3 March 2010. They just did regular engine oil change, oil filter, On the same date, I received a Letter from Honda Malaysia informing me of RECALL (Product update) on the apparent Defective FUSE BOX. On 22 March, I went ahead and sent the car for the recall exercise. Besides replacing the fuse box, they also replaced the Battery (under warranty).
Also, This Civic is one of the Escort car for my friend's wedding on 1 May 2010. The driver (me) is one of the Heng Taai (Xiong Di) mah! Sadly, no picture...
