Handlebar Mustache

Handlebar Mustache - How to Grow a Handlebar Mustache
As mentioned earlier, it is fairly simple to grow a handlebar mustache. The first thing that you need to do is stop shaving your upper lip. A few weeks must pass before the final handlebar mustache can culminate, but it is worth the wait. Shave other parts of the face, but let the ends of the mustache grow without cutting or trimming it. Once the length of the hair has grown enough, you need to buy some mustache wax. Mustache wax are the best ways to get that perfect handlebar mustache look. You can even make your own moustache wax with this moustache wax recipe.

Now, you need to start combing your mustache twice a day, and while doing so, you must create a parting in the middle of your mustache. The character of a handlebar mustache will be incomplete without the parting in the middle. While the ends of your handlebar mustache are growing longer and longer, you need to keep trimming the center of the mustache to get the perfect look. Now, apply the wax to the ends to make them slick and to maintain them in place. Now, take a pencil and curl the ends of the mustache tightly. Once you have removed the pencil the curls will stay in place in that manner. These are the easy steps for growing a handlebar mustache.

Popularity of Handlebar Mustache
The handlebar mustache came to the public eye in the 18th and 19th century. It came to symbolize the classic Victorian and Edwardian era look, and all the 'gentlemen' of that time regularly wore a handlebar mustache to proclaim their social status. Great Britain is where this look supposedly originated and pretty soon it started spreading to all corners of the world. Soldiers from the British Armed Forces and the Royal Air Force also, sported these mustaches very extensively and with great panache. In fact, the symbolic pictures of English colonialism all contain, an Englishman wearing a handlebar mustache.

Famous Handlebar Mustache Wearers
There have been many famous people throughout the course of history who have sported a handlebar mustache, and this just goes to show the amazing popularity that this mustache style enjoyed. Here are a few of the people who wore handlebar mustaches.
  • Thomas Hardy
  • Archduke Franz Ferdinand
  • Edward Elgar
  • Joseph Stalin
  • Bertrand Russell
There have been many other men throughout the course of history who have also sported this mustache. A fake handlebar mustache is also easily procurable but the nobility and authority of this mustache is so strong, so why would one possibly wish to use a fake one. Grow this mustache to get the perfect imperialistic disciplinarian look.

2012 Acura TSX

2012 Acura TSX
2012 Acura TSX Preview
The Acura TSX has always been offered only as a sedan. Rumors are afoot, though, that the 2012 Acura TSX may be made available with a coupe body style, too. No firm announcements have been made by Acura, though, so this is still purely in the realm of speculation. Like before, you can expect the newest TSX to be offered in base and V6 trim levels.
Performance
As you conduct research about the 2012 Acura TSX, it helps to get a feel for how previous years’ models have fared in terms of reliability, performance, resale and other areas. This compact, entry-level luxury sedan has always earned decent marks in terms of reliability; JD Power and Associates gave the 2010 model a reliability score of 7.0. The sedan has traditionally included a four-year/50,000-mile Total Luxury Care package which comes with concierge service, 24-hour roadside assistance and travel and emergency services. Resale values for the TSX have generally been middle-of-the-road; the 2012 TSX may be different, though.
Safety Features
When it comes to safety, you can expect the 2012 Acura TSX to truly excel. Previous years’ models have boasted impeccable safety scores in government crash tests; the luxury sedan has also always done well in tests by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. In addition to a bevy of standard safety features and equipment – like anti-lock brakes and six airbags – the 2012 Acura TSX should include a Vehicle Stability Assist System and an Advanced Compatibility Engineering design that pulls collision force away from passengers during accidents.
Improvements
The only rumored improvement that may be in the works for the 2012 Acura TSX is a V8 engine option. At this point, there are no firm facts that confirm or deny this; it could very well be wishful thinking on the part of TSX enthusiasts.
How the 2012 Acura TSX Compares to Other Cars
The compact luxury sedan field is fairly crowded. If there are characteristics of the 2012 Acura TSX that don’t sit well with you, there are plenty of other cars to consider. Similarly priced options include the Volvo S40, the Audi A4 and the Lexus IS 250. More affordable options include the Nissan Altima and the Volkswagen Jetta, both of which can be enhanced with first-rate upgrades.

Moustache Types

Moustache Types - Moustache Names

A mustache serves as a symbol of masculinity for some. Some men wear it just because they think it looks good. Some men have never gone without a mustache, so they probably have one out of plain habit. Some men accompany mustaches with a beard, and mustache types are so varied that they can choose one and flaunt the facial hairstyles for young men that they try out! You might not believe it, but there are World Beard and Mustache Championships held to judge who has the best mustache in the world! Read below for some plain, trendy, simple, complicated, and some outrageously outrageous mustache styles and names.

Mustache

Description

Famous Personality Who Sported It
Toothbrush Grow a full mustache. Then shave off the sides of the mustache, keeping only an inch or two right below the center of the nose.
Adolf Hitler, Otto Frank
Hungarian Allow your hair to grow right from the top of your upper lip. Once enough hair has grown, make a parting, and pull the hair on two opposite sides in such a way that it remains big and full in the center and tapering towards the ends.
Lajos Kossuth
English A classic British style mustache. It is a narrow mustache. It begins at the upper lip, right in the center, and as it grows, it is pulled sideways into whiskers. Curl the whiskers slightly upwards. This mustache was quite popular with English soldiers and important men during their colonial regime in the early 1800s and until later.
Snidely Whiplash
Fu Manchu This one, you may have seen on quite a lot of Oriental characters in Asian movies. It is nothing but a mustache that begins normally, and as it tapers, towards, the ends are allowed to grow long and turn downwards, often times, way below the chin.
Dr. Fu Manchu (fictional), Jimi Hendrix
Dali This style is named after the famous artist Salvador Dali. He sported this style, which involves an extremely narrow mustache at the upper lip, and the ends curving sharply upwards. The other portion of the upper lip must be shaved clean.
Salvador Dali
Handlebar Most commonly worn by Italian men in movies, this mustache is bushy at the center, and tapers towards the end. The edges are very gently curved upwards.
Rollie Fingers, Franz Ferdinand
Chevron This is probably the most widely sported mustache in the world. It's a no fuss mustache with just enough growth on the upper lip, and any excess or stray hair being cut or trimmed to give the face a neat and mature look.
Tom Selleck, Orlando Bloom
Horseshoe This is the one that is shaped like a horseshoe (duh!). Many people confuse it with the fu manchu because of the downward droop that both have. They look remarkably alike, except for the fact that the horseshoe mustache ends on the face, while the fu manchu extends even below the chin.
Hulk Hogan, Taylor Potts

Fiat 500 Giardinera, versão perua do diminuto 500.

O 500C é a versão conversível do novo 500...

Facial Hair Styles

Facial Hair Styles - Facial Hair Styles for Young Men
The kind of options that are open to an individual are very large in number, and since each person has a different and unique rate of growth, each person must choose the most appropriate facial hair styles with some common sense. The best option of course, is to sport a full fledged beard. But gone are the days when these beards did not require any grooming or trimming. Nowadays, these beards are much harder to maintain. You have to trim and groom the beard every single day, so as to ensure that it is all under control. Learn some beard trimming tips to help you.

The key here is to experiment and to pay close attention to feedback. It is the people around you who can be the best judge of your facial hair styles. While I am not contradicting myself by saying that you should style your beard or mustache exactly the way someone else wants you to, I am merely pointing out that if something is amiss about your facial hair style, then the people around you will let you know. Learn to pay attention to what they say.

You can opt for a french beard or its alternatives, you can grow a goatee, a chin patch, a chin strap, the mutton chops or the handlebar mustache etc. the list just goes on and on. You must keep the following pointers in mind before and after you decide to try out different facial hair styles.
  • Experiment as much as you like, but if something is not looking good, accept that and get rid of it.
  • You can try a partial goatee. Here you will grow the mustache, the chin patch, and some of the hair on the chin. The joining bars in between can be removed.
  • DO NOT forget to trim and groom the beard on a regular basis. Just because you're growing some kind of beard, does not mean that you can let it grow wild.
  • Choose the length of your sideburns carefully. Too long or too short can ruin the entire look of many different facial hair styles.
  • Instead of growing a full fledged beard, keep a stubble instead. This is easier to maintain and looks civilized as well.
  • Do not shape your facial hair styles weirdly, and do not dye it under any circumstances whatsoever.
  • Instead of experimenting excessively for no apparent reason, try the simple clean shaven look instead.
the shape of the face of the person also plays a telling role in determining which facial hair styles would suit one the best. People with triangular faces should opt for fuller beards or stubble. People with square faces should sport light beards that lends a slender look to their face, along with a suitable haircut. People with round faces can try for french beards and goatees, and people with oblong faces can sport very light stubble to make their face look fuller.

Suzuki Kizashi Concepts

Suzuki's long-awaited 2010 Suzuki Kizashi sedan is just starting to make its way to Suzuki dealerships, but that hasn't stopped the tuners from scoring a few Kizashis to dress up for the 2009 SEMA show. Here's a look at four customized Kizashis that will be on the floor at SEMA.
Road Race Motorsports Suzuki Kizashi
Road Race Motorsports Platinum Edition Suzuki Kizashi Front Three Quar
Road Race Motorsports has been making race cars out of Suzukis for a long time, so it's no surprise they got their hands on the Kizashi as fast as they could in order to create their Platinum Edition Kizashi. Digging in, they added a custom intake system, engine management system, Zeitronix data logging system and a custom dual exhaust. They then stiffened up the chassis and added Progress Technology springs and sway bars to take care of the handling and Rotora 13-in. brakes up front to handle stopping duties and complement their own Road Race 10.2-in. rear brakes.
Performance work done, Road Race turned their attention to the Kizashi's appearance, which they upgraded with their Sport Body kit. The kit includes Carbontrix custom front and rear fascias and a rear diffuser, to which they also added a custom grille, vented hood, and blacked-out roof. "Platinum Edition" graphics finish the package and let everyone know this is no ordinary Kizashi.

Also quick to snap up a Kizashi was Delta Tech Engineering, which also had its sights set on performance. They started by stripping the car and lightening it as much as possible. Under the hood, they fitted a cold air intake and custom exhaust to up performance while Koni provided new coilover shocks and springs to upgrade the handling. RK Sport, meanwhile, came up with a new body kit for the car while Katzkin took care of new seats and Kenwood supplied a new stereo system. Delta Tech finished off the car with custom HID and LED lighting it developed in-house for this project.

If any automotive magazine were to answer Suzuki's call for tuner Kizashi builds, which better to answer it than Import Tuner? The customizers of all things import went to work under the hood, on the suspension, and on the body work to create a custom Kizashi an import tuner could be proud to call its own.

Fusing East and West, Westside Auto Group drew inspiration from both the Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle and vintage European style for its Kizashi Soleil (Soleil is French for "masculine sun," a nod to the Kizashi's Japanese heritage). Up front, Westside created a new fascia, grille and air intakes, then moved around the side and shaved the door handles. Reaching the rear of the car, they added a custom rear fascia housing a custom Yoshimura exhaust and a GT Super Car spoiler. R-Worx seven-spoke wheels wrapped in early-release Bridgestone Potenza tires and two-tone Napa Merlot/Bronzed Amber paint complete the package.

2010 Suzuki Kizashi Bonneville Front
ASMC 2010 Suzuki Kizashi Bonneville SpecialThis ain't your run-of-the-mill family sedan. Designed and crafted by Advanced Product Engineering, the fully built and modified Kizashi recently ran a record-breaking 203.301 mph at this year's Bonneville Speed Week. To accomplish this feat, engineers boosted power to well over 500 horsepower with help of a massive Turbonetics turbocharger bolted onto a highly reworked engine (with upgraded internals, cooling, fuel, and lubrication systems). Of course, safety is a priority when travelling this fast, so the team installed a rollcage, aluminum rear bulkhead, racing seat, harness, window net, and fire suppression system.

Oakley Design Ferrari 458 Italia

Oakley Design Ferrari 458 Italia
It appears Stasis' tuned Audi R8 won't be the only European supercar to grace the Specialty Equipment Market Association show. Oakley Design, a firm noted mainly for tuning Porsches, revealed today it plans on bringing a customized Ferrari 458 Italia to next week's trade show.
Although Oakley has previously been tied to various Porsche projects, the company recently expanded its offerings to the new 458. In stock form, the Italia's 4.5-liter V-8 cranks out an impressive 570 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque, but Oakley's team believed they could improve upon Maranello's design. With a new intake system and a remapped engine computer, Oakley claims it was able to coax another 48 ponies and 20 pound-feet from the engine, bringing output to 618 horsepower and 418 pound-feet.
According to the tuner, the extra power helps thrust the 458 from 0-60 mph in a scant 3.0 seconds -- four-tenths of a second quicker than a stock Italia -- and to a top speed above the 205 mph mark. To help the driver retain control of the car at such speeds, Oakley's custom front and rear spoilers create an extra 99 and 55 pounds of downforce, respectively.
Oakley Design Ferrari 458 Italia Rear
To help set apart its 458 from stock cars, Oakley scrapped the standard five-spoke wheel in favor of giant HRE forged rims, which are both lighter and wider than the original hardware. Additionally, Oakley's blacked out portions of the A-pillar, roof, and decklid, allowing the 458's curved roofline to resemble a fighter jet's bubble canopy.
Oakley plans on building five 458s itself, one of which will be at SEMA next week. For those who already own a 458 but desire some of Oakley's touches, fear not -- the tuning shop insists it will offer these performance and cosmetic upgrades a la carte.

mazda 3

mazda 3
Mazda has turned to its motorsports arm for its official 2009 SEMA Show factory efforts, creating a special edition Mazdaspeed3 and a 2.5L Mazda3, both of which take cues from the Mazda3 World Challenge racecar. Both 3s wear Crystal White Pearl, grey graphics, and details painted in black. Mazda says the design is a rework of the livery on the infamous 787B that took Le Mans in 1991.
Tri-Point Engineering, which races its own pair of Mazdas in the World Challenge series, upgraded the powertrain on the 2.5L Mazda3. With a Garrett GT2871R turbocharger pumping 10 psi, Mazda claims the mill sends 250-hp to the front wheels, and that the tune isn't finished yet. The Mazdaspeed3 gets only an AEM intake, but it's good for a claimed 20-hp boost.
2010 Mazdaspeed3 SEMA Side View
The Speed3 lends its front brakes to the 2.5L 3. In return, it gets four-piston Stoptech calipers and floating two-piece rotors. Suspension upgrades consist of KW Suspension coilovers with modified top mounts on the front struts to increase camber.
The 2.5L 3, with the Speed3's brakes up front and Mazda5 brakes out back, gets a Tri-Point rear stabilizer bar and adjustable KW coilovers. Both cars sit on 19-in. wheels with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A rubber from the RX-8 R3.
