2011 should bring some unexpected entries to classic car shows and concours events because there's a new generation of cars that will be turning 25 years old and gain eligibility to be called a "classic car".? Thanks to President Carter's proposed taxes on gasoline and the sales price of big cars that took effect in 1985, Detroit's auto designers started making nearly all its cars like the boxy-looking subcompact Chevette.? Even the beloved muscle cars like the Mustang took on a ho-hum look and feel.
