I've finally changed the spark plugs in my 206 today, after going through the experience of receiving wrong spark plugs from Peugeot.
This is the story. The part number is 5960.15 and is supposed to work perfectly. The first set of plugs from Peugeot, made the engine cough like crazy, spewing out stinky exhaust fumes. The exhaust oxygen sensors picked this up and turned on the ECU warning lights. I panicked, thinking I had killed the engine! I took out the new plugs and compared with the old ones (which were Champion part number RC8YCL). They didn't look the same. I told Peugeot about this, and they sent me another set with the same part number 5960.15. The second set however, looked different from the first set. But they look exactly like the Champion plugs. The second set worked perfectly!
I am still perplexed as to why two different spark plugs can have the same part number. X-files?
